Pedja practiced as a General Dentist before starting his post-graduate training in Periodontology at the University of Belgrade, Serbia and later in London where he completed his training in 1995. He is registered as a Specialist in Periodontics with the General Dental Council in the UK.

Pedja has worked as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Department of Periodontology at the St Bartholomew’s (Barts) Hospital, London and is now actively involved in postgraduate training of Dentists and Hygienists in the UK. He runs periodontal and implant study clubs and teaches advanced surgical techniques for the ITI (International Team for Implantology) in the UK. He is an ITI Fellow.

Pedja’s main interests are in plastic periodontal surgical procedures, periodontal regeneration and rehabilitation of periodontal patients with dental implants.
